What’s On

The Boxmoor Playhouse - Wednesday 26th October

It’s that time of year when its dark outside and all the creepy creatures come out to play. Well Halloween doesn’t need to be all about thrills and chills. In fact, there is plenty of room for some howl-worthy fun too.

Our Ghoul Squad at the Magical Story Elves have years of experience creating Spooktacular events for children. They know exactly how to entertain without scaring people out of their wits. Our spellbinding witches and mystical creatures will create a fun and exciting interactive Halloween themed show.

The Plot:

Hazel the friendly Witch needs some help to prepare for her finale magic exam on Halloween. She is a student at the Crooked Hat Academy of Magic, but her magic keeps going wrong. On top of that she can’t find her pet Cat Trixie who was scared off by a potion explosion. There are four parts to Hazel’s magic exam: Flying, Potions, Transfiguration & Charms. She struggles with them all, so has asked Mabel the head Witch to help her. Join our friendly Witches on this spooktacular adventure full of fun, magic, musical games, and bubbling potions. Can you help Hazel pass her exam and find her missing cat?

We will be running two 1.5-hour sessions at 1pm & 3pm which will include:

•             X1 45 min Interactive Halloween themed show with musical games & bubbling potions (dry ice)

•             Halloween gift bag for each child

•             Certificate For Each Child

•             Halloween Craft for each child

•             Balloon Model for each child

•             Photo Opportunity

This event is open to all ages, but children aged 3 to 7 years old will appreciate the magic the most! Children under 3 years of age are welcome to attend for free if they are with a person who has purchased a standard ticket, but they do not receive any take home goodies and are not allocated a seat.

Children must be accompanied by at least 1 adult.

Due to the costs involved in running such a large-scale event we regret Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferrable . If any government enforced Covid 19 restrictions are put in place that mean the event cannot go ahead tickets will be transferred over to a future date. At Magical Story Elves we strive to treat all our customers fairly and do our best to keep disruption to a minimum

Doors open 10 minutes prior to the events.

Please leave promptly at the end of your session to allow the next group to arrive.
